Good Friday is the day to commemorate the Lord Jesus Christ’s death for the salvation of mankind. The Lord Jesus has redeemed our sin by His crucifixion, allowing us to enjoy God’s abundant grace and blessings, and bringing us the promise of eternal life. Read these Bible verses about Good Friday and appreciate God’s good intentions in saving us. 

“Saying, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered to the chief priests, and to the scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles: And they shall mock him, and shall whip him, and shall spit on him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again” (Mark 10:33-34). 

“For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth” (Matthew 12:40). 

“Jesus answered and said to them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up” (John 2:19). 

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved” (John 3:16-17).

Almighty God say's, "Palaging sumusulong ang gawain ng Diyos, at bagama’t hindi nagbabago ang layunin ng Kanyang gawain, palaging nagbabago ang pamamaraan ng Kanyang paggawa, na nangangahulugan na yaong mga sumusunod sa Diyos ay palagi ring nagbabago. Kapag mas marami ang gawaing ginagawa ng Diyos, mas lubos ang kaalaman ng tao tungkol sa Diyos. Nagbabago rin ang disposisyon ng tao kapag nagsisimula ang gawain ng Diyos. Gayunman, ito ay dahil ang gawain ng Diyos ay palaging nagbabago kaya yaong mga hindi nakakaalam sa gawain ng Banal na Espiritu at yaong mga kakatwang taong hindi nakakaalam sa katotohanan ay nagiging mga taong lumalaban sa Diyos."
