Why Have the Churches Become Desolate?（II）
Last time we have talked about the desolation of the church in the age of Law, so why didn’t God’s discipline and punishment come upon them when the people in the temple sined against God? It’s because God had left the temple quietly and started a stage of new work outside the temple. When the new work started, God no longer upheld the old work. So the Holy Spirit no longer worked in the temple, but upheld the work of Jesus. At the time, the followers of the Lord Jesus all enjoyed the joy and peace brought by the working of the Holy Spirit. They had the new way to practice and received the supply of the living water of life. But the Judaic priests, the Pharisees, and the people who held on to the law and didn’t accept Jesus lost God’s discipline and punishment for not having the working of the Holy Spirit anymore. They no longer had reverence of God in their hearts. As a result, the temple became ‘a den of thieves.’ Similarly, the real reason for the desolation of today is that God has left the churches of the Age of Grace and started a stage of new work.

Das letzte mal haben wir über die Verwüstung der Kirche im Zeitalter des Gesetzes gesprochen, also warum hat die Disziplin und die Strafe Gottes nicht über sie kommen lassen, wenn die Menschen im Tempel gegen Gott sined? Als die neue Arbeit begann, hat Gott die alte Arbeit nicht mehr aufrecht erhalten. Also hat der Heilige Geist nicht mehr im Tempel gearbeitet, sondern die Arbeit Jesu aufrecht erhalten. Zu der Zeit genossen die Anhänger des Herrn Jesus alle die Freude und den Frieden, die durch die Arbeit des Heiligen Geistes gebracht wurden. Sie hatten den neuen Weg, um zu üben und die Versorgung des lebenden Wassers des Lebens zu erhalten. Aber die jüdischen Priester, die Pharisäer, und die Menschen, die das Gesetz hielten und nicht akzeptieren, dass Jesus die Disziplin und Strafe des Gottes verloren hat, weil er nicht mehr die Arbeit des Heiligen Geistes hat. Sie hatten nicht mehr Ehrfurcht vor Gott in ihren Herzen. Als Folge wurde der Tempel zu einem den der Diebe. " ebenso ist der wahre Grund für die Verwüstung von heute, dass Gott die Kirchen des Alters der Gnade verlassen hat und eine Etappe der neuen Arbeit begonnen hat.
