Apostle John said, “परमेश्वर को कभी किसी ने नहीं देखा है किन्तु यदि हम आपस में प्रेम करते हैं तो परमेश्वर हममें निवास करता है और उसका प्रेम हमारे भीतर सम्पूर्ण हो जाता है।”

God is Spirit. We can't see or touch Him. When the Lord Jesus was incarnated, living and eating with man, the people of that time were able to get close to God, listen to the Lord's teaching face to face with Him, act according to His will, and gain God's approval. Then, for the people who follow the Lord afterward and haven't seen Him, how can it be possible that God is with us and lives in our hearts? John showed us a way, that is, to love each other. This is the Lord's teaching and requirements for us mankind. Only those who sincerely believe in the Lord are willing to put His words into practice and so God will live in their hearts. Actually the Lord has many more teachings. When we try our best to practice as the Lord taught us, we'll surely gain more guidance of the Holy Spirit, see many of God's wonderful deeds and God's loveliness. Our love for God will increase as well and our spiritual life will grow faster. From it we can see that the putting the Lord's words into practice is the key that we can have God live in our hearts. Just as God says, "ऐसा कहना पूरी तरह से उचित नहीं होगा कि परमेश्वर मनुष्यों के हृदयों में रहता है, परन्तु न ही यह पूरी तरह से गलत है। इसका कारण यह है कि परमेश्वर में विश्वासियों के मध्य, कुछ लोग ऐसे हैं जिनका विश्वास सत्य है और कुछ ऐसे हैं जिनका विश्वास गलत है, कुछ ऐसे हैं जिन्हें परमेश्वर का अनुमोदन प्राप्त है और कुछ ऐसे हैं जिन्हें परमेश्वर का अनुमोदन प्राप्त नहीं है। कुछ ऐसे हैं जो उसको प्रसन्न करते हैं कुछ ऐसे हैं जो उससे घृणा करते हैं, और कुछ ऐसे हैं जिन्हें वह पूर्ण बनाता है और कुछ ऐसे हैं जिन्हें वह मिटा देता है। इसलिए मैं कहना चाहूंगा कि परमेश्वर रहता है परन्तु कुछ ही लोगों के हृदयों में रहता है, और ये कुछ लोग निस्संदेह सच्चाई से परमेश्वर पर विश्वास करते हैं, वे जिन्हें परमेश्वर अनुमोदन प्रदान करता है, जिनसे वह प्रसन्न है और जिन्हें वह पूर्ण बनाता है। ये वे लोग हैं जो परमेश्वर के द्वारा अगुवाई प्राप्त करते हैं।"
