"Ragazzo! Lo sai che il Partito comunista è ateo ed è contro la fede in Dio? In Cina in quale Dio puoi credere? Dov'è questo tuo Dio?" "Non pensare che, poiché sei giovane, saremo più clementi con te! Se continui a credere in Dio, finirai morto!" Con bastoni elettrici in mano, la polizia comunista cinese maltratta questo giovane, ricoperto di lividi.
Questo giovane si chiama Gao Liang e in quel periodo aveva 17 anni. Stava tornando a casa dopo aver predicato il Vangelo insieme ad un fratello più anziano, quando venne arrestato dalla polizia comunista cinese. La polizia non gli diede niente da mangiare né gli permise di dormire per tre giorni e tre notti. Lo interrogarono, tentarono di estorcergli una confessione e lo torturarono crudelmente. Usarono perfino bastoni elettrici per dargli scosse sul mento, su entrambe le mani e sulle parti intime. Cercavano di costringerlo a tradire Dio e a fornire loro informazioni sui capi e sulle risorse finanziarie della Chiesa mediante il ricatto. A questo scopo minacciavano di arrestare i suoi genitori e di chiedere alla scuola di espellerlo. Non riuscendo a raggiungere i suoi obiettivi, il governo comunista cinese lo condannò ad un anno di rieducazione tramite lavori forzati. Durante la prigionia, non solo era soggetto a richieste di lavoro estenuante, ma Gao Liang veniva anche umiliato e tormentato. In prigione Gao Liang ha vissuto ciò che può essere definito soltanto come l'inferno sulla terra. Durante questo doloroso raffinamento, Gao Liang pregava Dio e si affidava a Lui. Le parole di Dio Onnipotente lo illuminarono per fargli comprendere le Sue intenzioni. Gli fornirono fede e forza e lo guidarono in modo che riuscisse a superare l'anno da trascorrere in prigione. L'arresto e la persecuzione del governo comunista cinese sono incise nel cuore di Gao Liang. Vede chiaramente e ha subito profondamente l'essenza malvagia del governo comunista cinese e il suo antagonismo verso Dio. In questo mondo in cui i poteri di Satana hanno una grande influenza, solo Dio ama l'uomo più di ogni altra cosa. Solo Dio può salvare l'uomo. La sua fede e la sua volontà di seguire Dio divennero ancora più risolute. Gao Liang dice che queste prove e tribolazioni sono preziosi tesori per la sua crescita e lo sviluppo della sua vita. È stato un dono speciale che Dio gli ha fatto all'età di diciassette anni.

With His words going deep, God watches the universe.
All creations are made new based on the words of God.
Heaven’s changing, earth is too, man is showing what he really is.
When God created the world, all things were after their kind,
so was everything with a visible form.
When God’s management is close to the end,
God will restore things to what they were at the creation.
Little by little, step by step, men are sorted to their kind,
return to “families” they belong to.
God’s delighted because of this.
There’s nothing that can disturb Him.
God’s great work ends before it’s known.
Before all things are aware, they have all been changed.

God will restore the former state of all things at the creation.
He causes everything fully changed, brings everything back into His plan.
Now, the time has come! The end of God’s last plan is at hand.
You unclean, filthy old world, shall fall under God’s word,
shall be reduced to nothingness because of the plan of God!
All things created by God, shall gain a new life in His word, have a “sovereign Lord”!
You sanctified new world, shall come to life in the glory of God.
Mount of Zion, stop your silence. God has returned in victory!
He is watching over all lands, among all creations.
Mankind has begun a new life on earth, having a brand new hope.

People of God! Will you not revive in God’s light?
Will you not jump and laugh for joy under the leading and guiding of God?
The lands and waters cheer and laugh. Israel, that’s come back to life!
Will you not feel proud for being preordained by God?
Who’s once wept? Who’s once wailed?
Israel of old has ceased to exist. Israel of today has risen in the world.
It’s stood up in all people’s hearts. It gets the source of life through people of God.
Hateful Egypt! Will you still be against God?
How can you escape His chastisement because of mercy of God?
He who’s loved by God shall live forever.
He who goes against God shall be punished forever.
For God is a jealous God, He never lets go of people’s deeds easily.
God searches all lands.
With righteousness and majesty, with wrath and chastising,
He appears in the East of the world, to reveal Himself to all people on earth!
Little by little, step by step, men are sorted to their kind,
return to “families” they belong to.
God’s delighted because of this.
