神要找聽話、順服的人 來完成他的託付
我們看過創世記的都知道，神要用洪水滅世，囑咐挪亞造方舟的事情，挪亞聽到神的話之後，就按著神的話去造方舟，而且盡職盡責的完成了神交給他的託付，挪亞的行為得到了神的稱許，最後只有挪亞一家八口在大洪水中剩存了下來。通過這件事情讓我們看到神的性情不容觸犯，神喜歡聽他話語能順服他的人，能完成神託付的人，這樣的人蒙神的稱許和保守。
「世界在神面前敗壞，地上滿了強暴。「地上滿了強暴」這話讓人看到了什麼？就是當世界、當人類敗壞到極處的時候，地上有一個現象，那就是「地上滿了強暴」。「滿了強暴」拿現在的話來說就是亂套了。在人看，就是各行各業都沒有秩序，挺混亂，不好管理。在神眼中，就是這個世界的人類太敗壞了，敗壞到什麼程度了呢？敗壞到了神不能再看的程度、神不能再忍耐的程度，敗壞到了神定意要毀滅的程度。當神定意要滅世界的時候，神就計劃尋找一個人來造一個方舟，然後神選定了挪亞來做這樣一件事情，就是讓挪亞造一個方舟。為什麼要選挪亞呢？挪亞在神眼中是個義人，而且凡神所吩咐的他都照樣行，就是說神告訴他做什麼他就做什麼。神要找這樣的人來配合他的工作，來完成他的託付，完成他在地上要作的工作。」
